DISC classes are about participation in ice sports, having fun, and becoming more skilled in your skating foundations, techniques, and ice awareness.
Skaters are required to have DISC membership. Classes are led by NZIFSA-qualified coaches, or experienced coaches affiliated to ISSNZ who also compete themselves.
Development classes are currently charged at a rate of $18 per class by the number of weeks in each block. The number of classes in each block generally ranges from 8-10, depending on what other events are happening at the ice stadium.
